The problem

Your team asks the same questions every week. Nobody trusts the answers.

Revenue lives in the CRM. Costs live in Xero. Support tickets live in Intercom. Documentation lives in Notion. Customer contracts live in Google Drive. Every Monday someone spends two hours pulling numbers from three dashboards to answer a question the CEO asked on Friday.

The data exists. It's just scattered across five tools, formatted differently in each one, and nobody's sure which version is current. So people stop asking. They make decisions on instinct, or they wait for the monthly report, or they bother the one person in the business who knows where everything lives.

Company Brain fixes this. It connects your data sources into a single AI layer that anyone on the team can query in plain English. "What's our revenue from enterprise clients this quarter?" "How many support tickets mentioned onboarding last month?" "What did we agree with Acme Corp in the last contract?" Ask the question. Get the answer — with sources.

"The stickiest product I build. Once your team uses it daily, it becomes infrastructure."
What gets built

One AI that knows your business. Seven things, shipped in 3–4 weeks.

Company Brain is a single intelligence layer that sits across your existing tools. It doesn't replace anything — it reads everything, normalises the data, and lets anyone on the team ask questions in plain English. Every answer comes with sources so your team can verify and trust the output.

01 · Data source integration

Five sources connected out of the box.

CRM, finance, support, docs, and one custom source of your choice. Your data stays where it is — Company Brain reads it, indexes it, and keeps it in sync.

02 · Schema mapping

Data normalised and queryable.

Different tools store data differently. Schema mapping translates everything into a consistent structure so the brain can reason across sources — not just search inside one.

03 · Natural language query

Ask anything. Get structured answers with sources.

No dashboards to learn. No SQL. Type a question in English, get an answer with the data and the source it came from. If the brain doesn't know, it says so.

04 · Permissions

Role-based access by team and seniority.

Finance data visible to leadership but not the whole company. Support data visible to ops. You decide who sees what — the brain enforces it on every query.

05 · Slack integration

Query the brain in any channel.

Type a question in Slack. The brain answers in-thread, with sources. No context-switching, no logging into another tool. The answer meets the team where the conversation already lives.

06 · Daily & weekly digests

Auto-generated briefings for leadership.

A daily or weekly summary — the numbers that matter, the anomalies, the things that changed — delivered to Slack or email before anyone has to ask.

07 · Tested against your team's real questions

Battle-tested before go-live.

Before launch, I collect the actual questions your team asks every week — the ones that currently take 30 minutes to answer. The brain is tested and tuned against those real queries until the answers are accurate, sourced, and trusted.

How it works

Three phases. 3–4 weeks, start to finish.

01 — Map & connect

Week 1: your data, understood.

I map your five data sources, get access credentials, build the schema mapping, and set up the sync pipeline. You answer a few questions about what matters most — which questions the team asks, which numbers the CEO needs on Monday.

02 — Build & tune

Weeks 2–3: the brain takes shape.

The query interface goes live internally. I tune the brain against your team's real questions — adjusting prompts, refining how it reasons across sources, setting up permissions and digests. You test it. I fix what's wrong.

03 — Launch & embed

Week 4: in your team's hands.

Slack integration live. Digests configured. Permissions locked down. Your team starts using it — and I monitor the first two weeks of real usage to catch edge cases and tune accuracy.

Pricing

£8,000 to build it. £1,500/month to keep it sharp.

Company Brain is a fixed-price build with an ongoing retainer. The build gets you live in 3–4 weeks with five data sources connected, the query interface, Slack integration, permissions, and digests. The retainer keeps everything running, connected, and improving.

Common questions

What founders ask about Company Brain.

Which data sources can you connect?

Almost anything with an API or an export. The build includes five sources — typically CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive), finance (Xero, QuickBooks), support (Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk), docs (Notion, Google Drive, Confluence), and one custom source of your choice (a database, a spreadsheet, a bespoke system). Additional sources beyond the initial five are £800 each.

How is my data secured?

Your data stays where it is — Company Brain reads and indexes it but doesn't move it to a separate database. Queries run against an encrypted index. Permissions mean each team member only sees what they're supposed to. I don't store raw data — only the structured representations needed for querying. All connections use OAuth or API keys with the minimum required permissions.

What does "ask anything" actually mean?

It means natural language queries across all your connected sources. "What was our revenue from enterprise clients last quarter?" "How many support tickets mentioned onboarding in March?" "What did we agree with Acme Corp in the last renewal?" The brain can answer any question whose answer lives in the connected data — and if it can't, it tells you it doesn't know rather than guessing. Every answer comes with the source it used, so you can verify.

Slack or web interface — which one do people use?

Both are included. In practice, Slack wins — 80% of queries come through Slack because it's where the team already works. Someone asks a question in a channel, the brain answers in-thread, the whole team sees it. The web interface is there for longer, more complex queries or when you want to browse previous answers. Most teams start with Slack and rarely open the web version.

What happens when our underlying data changes?

Company Brain syncs continuously. When you update a deal in HubSpot or close a ticket in Intercom, the brain picks up the change on the next sync cycle — typically within minutes, not hours. If you restructure a data source (rename fields, change a schema, migrate to a new tool), the retainer covers re-mapping and testing so the brain stays accurate.
